At Black Mountain, each student has a tailored Personal Futures Actions Plan (PFAP) and Individualised Learning Plan (ILP). These are developed in conjunction with the student, family and carers, using the BMS functional curriculum, Australian Curriculum and the Towards Foundation Victorian Curriculum as a framework.
The PFAP/ILP is developed within a planning process that aims to project forward and map post-school life for each student. This process is ongoing and forms a living document which drives individualised education. Futures planning is achieved in collaboration with parents, care-givers and relevant professionals.
